About the Common Management Unit (CMU) for AIDS, TB & Malaria
The Common Management Unit (CMU) is a strategic body established by the Ministry of Health to create a unified and strengthened response against three of the most significant public health challenges in Pakistan: HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.
The unit works to streamline program implementation, improve coordination with provincial departments and international partners like the Global Fund, and ensure that resources are used effectively to achieve national disease control targets.
