Admission Test Requirements
Admission to UAP is based on a competitive process, including a mandatory admission test.
- For Master’s Programs: Candidates for all M.Sc. (H), M.Phil, MBA, and MS Degree Programs must clear the GAT (General) test. A minimum qualifying score of 50% is required.
- For PhD Programs: Candidates for all PhD Degree Programs must clear the GAT (Subject) test. A minimum qualifying score of 60% is required.
- Note: GAT (General) / GAT (Subject) tests that are accepted by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) are also acceptable for admission.
Admission Schedule and How to Apply: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Get University Admission Test (UAT) Application Forms
- Date: Forms are available from July 07, 2025.
- How: Download the Online University Admission Test (UAT) application form from the official UAP website: www.aup.edu.pk.
Step 2: Submit UAT Application Form
- Deadline: July 18, 2025.
- How: Submit the completed UAT form along with a copy of the bank receipt for the non-refundable fee of Rs.1500/-.
- Bank Details: Deposit the fee in A/C# 14877902286403 Habib Bank Ltd, Branch University of Agriculture Peshawar.
- Submission Location: Submit the form and receipt to the DASAR Office on or before the deadline.
Step 3: University Admission Test (UAT)
- Date: The UAT will be held on July 26, 2025.
- Details: The exact date, time, and location of the test will be mentioned on the test slip.
Step 4: Get University Admission Forms
- Date: Main admission forms will be available from August 04, 2025.
- How: Download the admission forms from the UAP website: www.aup.edu.pk.
Step 5: Submit University Admission Forms
- Deadline: August 13, 2025.
- How: Submit the completed admission form, along with all required attested documents and the bank receipt for the admission processing fee, to the office of the concerned Departments/Institutes by the deadline.
- For UAT Takers: Candidates who qualify the UAT must also submit their score card and the required documents to the DASAR office before the due date.
Important Notes for Applicants:
- Candidates whose qualifying results are awaited can also apply for the admission test. However, their admission will be provisional and subject to them meeting the eligibility criteria upon declaration of their results.
- Only those candidates who submit the online admission form to the DASAR office within the due date will be allowed to sit in the university admission test.
