The Path to Commission: The Selection Procedure
The selection process is rigorous, designed to identify the best and brightest candidates.
- Online Registration: Register online at www.joinpaf.gov.pk from 28 July to 15 August, 2025. Candidates must have a Nadra Smart Card.
- Intelligence & Academic Tests: After registration, you will undergo an initial computer-based test at your chosen PAF Information & Selection Centre (I&SC). This includes an intelligence test followed by an academic test in relevant subjects (e.g., English, Physics, Maths).
- Initial Medical & Interview: Successful candidates will proceed to an initial medical examination and a preliminary interview at the I&SC.
- Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB): Shortlisted candidates will receive a call for the comprehensive ISSB tests, which evaluate your psychological aptitude, character, and leadership potential over several days.
- Final Selection: Candidates recommended by ISSB will undergo a final medical examination at the Central Medical Board (CMB), Lahore. The final selection is made in order of merit.
