| Deputy Manager (Port Operations) | Master of the Port, Commander of Logistics: The Deputy Manager (Port Operations) is a pivotal role, acting as the central command for all vessel activities while in port. You will be the primary liaison between the vessel, port authorities, and shore-based services, ensuring seamless, efficient, and cost-effective turnaround of our fleet. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of port agency and terminal operations. • Oversee the preparation and processing of vessel coordination, customs documentation, and on-site boarding procedures. • Proactively manage vessel schedules to minimize delays and optimize port stay. • Liaise with port authorities, customs officials, stevedores, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. • Provide expert operational support and problem-solving for vessel masters and crew. Skills: Port operations management, vessel turnaround optimization, maritime logistics, ship agency supervision, customs documentation for shipping, strong leadership, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills. | Option 1: • Qualification: Master Mariner (FG). • Experience: Sailing experience in a senior capacity, preferably with 02 years of shore experience in handling port agency, terminal operations, and vessel coordination. OR Option 2: • Qualification: Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from an HEC recognized institute. • Experience: Minimum 05 years of shore experience in a similar capacity. | Assistant Manager (Insurance & Claims) | Guardian of Assets, Master of Risk: The Assistant Manager (Insurance & Claims) is a specialized role focused on safeguarding the Corporation’s assets through robust insurance coverage and diligent claims management. You will be responsible for navigating the complex world of marine insurance, from policy management to the resolution of intricate claims. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the corporation’s marine insurance portfolio, including Hull & Machinery (H&M) and Protection & Indemnity (P&I) coverage. • Handle the entire lifecycle of marine claims, from initial notification and investigation to negotiation and settlement. • Liaise with insurance brokers, P&I clubs, surveyors, and legal counsel. • Analyze charter parties and other contracts to assess insurance-related risks and obligations. • Maintain meticulous records of all insurance policies, claims, and related documentation. Skills: Marine insurance expertise (P&I, H&M), claims handling and negotiation, maritime contract analysis, risk management, strong analytical and negotiation skills. A Cert. CII (UK) is highly desirable. | Qualification: BBBA / BS (Hons.) in Insurance & Risk Management. Preference will be given to candidates with Cert. CII (UK) and better CII credits. Experience: • Minimum 3 years of corporate level insurance & claims experience. • Preference will be given to candidates having: Experience handling marine claims for a minimum of 2 years in a reputable firm, and familiarity with the basic regulatory framework and contract structure of the shipping industry.
